Schedule the
work with the consultant to generate the drawings or design criteria in scheduled
priority. This allows us to start work in the areas that are most time critical without
the entire project’s design being completed. We use Sure Track Project Manager
software from Primavera for scheduling tasks and resources to meet a projects critical
time elements.
Contractors can
be more efficient with their time by selecting system types and coordinating space
requirements with the engineer. During this time, Commercial is typically sizing and
locating piping, ductwork and plumbing systems. This allows us to estimate material
and labor cost quickly, thus giving the project team budget feedback.
Planning and
purchasing equipment and materials prior to the start of the project eliminates costly
project delays by coinciding delivery times with scheduled installation dates.
Estimating the
final cost of construction in the initial planning stages before irreversible decisions
are made on equipment or materials. This allows the project team to make value
